Destination Leaders Programme 2021/2022
The award winning, academically accredited Destination Leaders Programme (or DLP as it is commonly known) is based on practice-based learning, funded by Scottish Government and delivered in partnership with Scottish Enterprise, Highlands & Islands Enterprise and South of Scotland Enterprise, as part of the Scottish Tourism Leadership Programme.
The programme will be delivering three online courses (working in real-time), starting in October 2021 and running through to March 2022: these will focus on Aberdeen/Dundee; Glasgow/Edinburgh; and Pan Scotland.
Many of the Women in Tourism board are DLP graduates themselves, and have found the practical aspects of the leadership development, the sharing of best practice and the lasting DLP alumni network particularly valuable. The programme now has over 120 industry alumni across Scotland.
Application Deadline Dates
- Glasgow/Edinburgh will close for applications on 13 October 2021
- Aberdeen/Dundee closes on 28 October 2021
- The Pan Scotland cohort will close on 1 November 2021
Applicants should state in their personal statement which stream they wish to be considered for.
