Celebrating Women in Tourism: Join us on the 19 November

WIT News

Join the WIT community on the evening of Monday 19 November at the Corinthian Club, Glasgow, to celebrate all women in tourism and look back at the year’s achievements. Find out more and book tickets.

Earlier this year we announced the Top 100 (118) Women in Tourism. Our list includes business owners, marketing and events colleagues, chefs, managers and emerging business leaders – you didn’t need to be a CEO or Director to enter, or be nominated; and the list reflects just that.

The Women in Tourism board was delighted to receive recognition from the Cabinet Secretary for Culture, Tourism and External Affairs, Fiona Hyslop, who tweeted that: “Scottish tourism is full of talented women shaping and growing the sector: well done to all involved and to WIT for the initiative.”  We also received fantastic feedback from industry and from both the nominees and those who nominated – read more here.

As a result, and in recognition of the inaugural Women in Tourism Top 100, the WIT team is delighted to be hosting an evening reception celebrating all women within the Scottish tourism industry, on Monday 19 November, at the Corinthian Club, Glasgow.

We hope you can join us for an evening of networking, celebration and a few surprises along the way! On the evening, we will be joined by many of the #WITTop100 and look forward to celebrating with them as we look back at another busy year for the industry.
