Last year’s Women in Tourism event, our very first, delivered as part of Scottish Tourism Week 2016, generated a lot of fantastic debate and attracted over sixty attendees – our header photo shows details of some of our research survey results.

We hope that our 2017 WIT event will continue to generate important debate on some of the challenges in our sector, as well as celebrating the advancement and achievements of women in our industry.

Women in Tourism is proud to be hosting our first event of 2017 on International Women’s Day 2017 and to be part of the IWD 2017 campaign theme #BeBoldforChange.  This year’s campaign: call on the masses or call on yourself to help forge a better working world – a more gender inclusive world.
