This year, Women in Tourism are hosting FIVE #IWD events on the same evening of Thursday 7 March 2024.
We’ll be celebrating by hosting evening events in central Scotland (Edinburgh and Glasgow), Eastern Scotland (St. Andrews), the Scottish Borders (Moffat), and The Highlands (Inverness), with the technology to connect each venue in order to hear from Women in Tourism Chair, Susan Russell, and our guest speaker for the evening, Louise MacLean, Director of Business Development, the Signature Group. International Women’s Day 2024: #InspireInclusion
The theme for International Women’s Day 2024 is #InspireInclusion and Women in Tourism aim to celebrate the achievements of women leaders in tourism and inspire those wishing to work in our industry; as well as recognise the importance of resilience during sectoral challenges and change.
Keynote speaker Louise MacLean of Signature Group will address these themes in her talk, and Women in Tourism Chair, Susan Russell, will also welcome and address guests at all venues.
There will be time for networking, drinks and snacks, as well as the opportunity to meet with local WIT members and make new connections.
